We have confirmed the following bug mentioned by Guy in the comments of the V1.1 release post.

Here is what I believe to be true.
--This bug is limited to OS X version 10.5+ (Leopard).
--Does not seem to affect Windows or 10.4.x (Jaguar)
--The problem is that the embedded thumbnail in any JPEGs in the raw folder are also being processed along with the raws.
--So IJFR performs its intended task, along with the unintended extraction of the tiny thumbnail from any JPEGs that might in its group of selected files.

Several workarounds...
--Simply delete the unwanted extracted tiny thumbs.
--Do not have JPEGs in the raw folder.
--Instead of right clicking on the raw folder, simply select the raw files *within* the folder and then right click on one of them.

Sorry for the problem. We will look into it..
