Typically today’s cameras mark the file as to whether it should be display as a portrait or landscape based on the orientation of the camera at capture. The camera sets a rotate flag, and it is up to the application that displays the image to honor the rotate flag. IJFR does not modify the rotate flag and depends on the viewer application to display the image properly. Check for an update for the viewer application, or check a file in a known viewer like Photoshop, Preview (Mac OS), or Faststone Image viewer Windows)..
